I am a certified educator currently working as a college admissions consultant in Guangzhou, China. I enjoy working with students, and I have the patience and devotion necessary to do so. I have experience teaching English as a Second Language, English Literature, and ACT English. However, I can also provide tutoring for other subjects, namely the LSAT for prospective law school applicants. My LSAT score is a 177 out of 180, which places me in the top 0.2% of test takers in the world. I achieved this score through arduous study, and I am intimately familiar with the examination. Hobbies
I enjoy reading, cooking, exercising, and playing trombone. Because of my work schedule, I devote less time to hobbies and interests than I would like, but I still make sure to invest some time in pursuing my interests named above. As for teaching, my style varies depending on the student and subject matter. When working with younger students, for example, I emphasize structure and direction, but maintain a laid-back attitude to avoid adding to their stress. For older students preparing for the ACT, however, I will still maintain structure during class, but I am far more direct and involved in addressing and resolving issues using concrete strategies.
